1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of makeup services ("Services") by Stephanie Garrett ("Makeup Artist") to clients ("Client" or "Clients"). By booking and receiving Services from Stephanie Garrett, Clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that they are agreeing to these at the point of the non-refundable deposit being made.

2. Booking and Deposit

2.1. To secure a booking, Clients must pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service cost. The deposit confirms the Client's commitment to the agreed-upon date and time for the Services.

2.2. The remaining balance shall be due and payable by the Client the week prior to the scheduled appointment.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1. If the Client is needing to cancel or reschedule, the Client agrees to forfeit the non-refundable deposit. If there is less than 72 hours notice to Stephanie Garrett, the full amount is non-refundable.

3.2. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling by Stephanie Garrett due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or emergency), efforts will be made to reschedule the appointment at a mutually agreeable time, another artist provided at no extra cost to the Client or the deposit will be refunded in full.

4. Service Changes

4.1. Any changes to the agreed-upon Services must be communicated and agreed upon by both parties in advance of the scheduled appointment.

4.2. Additional services requested on the day of the appointment may incur extra charges, to be determined by Stephanie Garrett.

5. Conduct

5.1. Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Delays may result in shortened appointment times or forfeiture of the deposit.

5.2. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing skin conditions that may affect the provision of Services. This includes Clients that may have a contagious illness, such as a common cold, conjunctivitis and cold sores. Stephanie Garrett reserves the right to refuse to work on any Client displaying any signs of illness with full payment required.

6. Liability

6.1. Stephanie Garrett shall not be liable for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or adverse reactions resulting from the use of products provided during the provision of Services.

6.2. Clients are advised to inform Stephanie Garrett of any concerns or discomfort during the provision of Services.

7. Early Start and Travel Fees

7.1. Bookings beginning prior to 6.30am will require an early start fee. If an early start is required, and the travel distance is further than 1 hour, an overnight stay may be required. Please contact Stephanie Garrett for more information.

7.2. Travel for the general Christchurch area is a flat rate of $15, for the greater Christchurch area it is charged at .90c per km return to Bishopdale, Christchurch.

7.3. For out of town or destination weddings, costs may include travel time, accommodation, and travel method. Please contact Stephanie Garrett for more information.

8. Amendments

8.1. Stephanie Garrett reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

By booking and receiving Services from Stephanie Garrett, Clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
